Very Busy Day

I was busy today, so I was unable to post. I will have to catch Friday's Y&R on my DVR later. Have a glorious fun weekend!

The Shocker Episode!

Does Red burn the letter from Dr. Taylor?...Taylor leaves a note, Adam faces his accusers, and Tucker confronts Jill!

Adam regains consciousness in a chair in the Abbott cabin - he sees Victor, Billy, Victoria, Nick, and Sharon. Adam asks Sharon if she lured him there for this. She tells him he brought it on himself. Ashley and Jack are also there - Adam can't believe she's in on this. Jack asks him who he thinks put it all together?! Adam denies knowing anything about the baby situation, and scoffs at the idea of them keeping him there until he talks - he says he's done nothing wrong. Victor informs him that if he doesn't cooperate he'll leave them no choice - he will stay in this cabin until he tells them the truth about Nick and Sharon's baby. Victoria asks Nick where Phyllis is - he's not sure, nothing is more important than this. Adam stands up to leave, saying this is kidnapping. Nick and Jack both warn him to sit down.

Nikki is at the Club, leaving Victor a message saying she's on her way up to the cabin, when she sees the copy of Restless Style with Tucker on it. Jill walks by, and Nikki asks if she's behind this. Jill smiles. Nikki confronts Jill about not honoring Katherine's wishes - she's made this all about herself and has interfered with Kay getting to know her son!

Still at Mac's bar, Tucker tells Katherine that he believes she was in on the Restless Style article with Jill - and the deal they just signed now means nothing! Katherine asks him to look her in the eye and tell her that he honestly believes she would jeopardize what they've been working on, both with Chancellor and personally. Tucker says she's been playing him since he took over the company - she's one of the best he's ever seen! Katherine tells Tucker that they are now partners whether he likes it or not. He says it doesn't take effect for thirty days - she asks him to give her the thirty days to prove she is genuine. He laments what is going to happen to him in the next month due to the article, and leaves.

Phyllis, still pretending to be a doctor, meets with a woman from the hospital at Crimson Lights. The woman tells her that Dr. Taylor regained consciousness briefly before he died, and that he left a letter labeled 'For Mrs. Newman's Eyes Only'! Phyllis says it's obviously for Mrs. Phyllis Newman, who became friends with Dr. Taylor - she offers to give it to her. The woman says she'll have to deliver it herself. Phyllis confesses that this will sound strange, but she is Phyllis Newman, and the letter is meant for her. She shows the woman her ID and tries to explain the situation with Adam, and that there is a child involved. Phyllis gets the note and opens it - it tells 'Mrs. Newman' that she had a miscarriage - she was not pregnant. Phyllis gasps! It goes on to say that Adam was blackmailing him, that's why he couldn't tell her before. Michael appears and Phyllis asks him to drive her to the Abbott cabin!

Heather and Rafe arrive at the cabin, where Adam protests that this is against the law. Rafe and Heather says it looks more like an intervention - nothing illegal is happening here! Adam brings up Jabot, but Jack tells him that ship has sailed - he and daddy made a deal, and now no one wants his testimony! Victor wants to know what happened to the baby Sharon had. Sharon tells Adam that if he loves her, he needs to tell her what happened to her baby! Adam shouts that Ashley has a healthy baby and he doesn't know what happened with Sharon's baby - why would the doctor lie? He tells Sharon he loves her, but he doesn't have the answers! Nick asks Adam how much he got for the baby, and Adam says he's sick - he gets up to leave, but Victor tells him to sit down again. Sharon leans into Adam's face, saying that every day she thinks about her daughter - she knows she heard her cry - if she's out there being raised by someone else he has to tell her - if he won't do it to save himself, then he should do it for her. Adam jumps up and Nick lunges at him - Victor holds Nick back! Adam goes on the offensive, saying that all of them have mistreated him - he's been beaten down since he arrived in Genoa City. Victor tells him to be a man - it's his last chance. Adam says if they want to know the truth about Taylor, he'll tell them everything!

Jill arrives at the Chancellor Estate, and Tucker is there to confront her. She confirms that she's loving this. Tucker notes that any good journalist would have asked him to comment. Jill says the information speaks for itself. Tucker asks if Katherine was her source. She says Kay didn't give him up - she and Billy are incredible investigators! He leaves, and Katherine comes home. She bellows that Jill agreed not to run that story! Katherine informs her that Tucker had just signed papers giving her back controlling interest in the company when that rag showed up! Jill says this isn't about her playing mommy to Tucker, it's about her getting her company back - if she admits the truth, so will she! Jill levels with Kay, saying they should face it - they're both a couple of selfish witches! Kay says, "Well put."

Back at the bar in the Club, Tucker is putting out fires over the phone. He calls someone and tells them that he wants Chancellor Industries completely dismantled in the next thirty days!

In the car on the way to the cabin, Michael struggles to make sense of what Phyllis is telling him about Nick and Sharon's baby. She frets about what will happen to her marriage, and asks Michael to turn the car around - she needs to go home and think. Michael says she's just feeling backed into a corner - she can't keep the information from Nick - she'd be just like Adam. Michael says he's taking her to the cabin because he knows she will do the right thing!

Nikki has arrived at the cabin now, and Adam is in the process of explaining that Dr. Taylor was a consummate professional with Ashley - he saw to it! Victor angrily tells him to skip ahead to the night the babies were born. Billy pipes up and says he saw Adam in the funeral home. Nikki gasps, "You stole ashes?!" Sharon holds her hand over her heart, and Billy lunges at Adam. Heather jumps in, saying she can't be a party to this! Victor orders Heather and Rafe to get out! Billy and Victoria step outside, and she warns him to let Victor do this his way. They come back inside as Sharon is appealing to Adam to give her the truth if he loves her. Adam pleads with her to say she believes him, but she stays silent. Victor says he's heard enough - time is up and no one is coming to his defense - they will get the truth from him by whatever means necessary.

Outside the cabin, Phyllis stands looking at the plaque for Baby Faith on the tree. She holds the letter and says, "No one needs to know." She holds a lighter near the envelope!

Next on The Young and the Restless:

Nick says to Sharon, "We need to talk." She replies that her head is spinning. He says his is too. Just then, Phyllis walks into the cabin.

Adam tells Sharon that Dr. Taylor was alone with her - if he did anything, it was without his knowledge. Billy and Nick attack him!

Wednesday's Y&R

Cane won't be deported if he eats tainted cookies?...why didn't Adam think of that! He could have eaten a rotten chili burger and be a free man today! Tucker hangs out at Mac's Bar, that is a logical place for a billionaire to hang...next week Tucker will be mowing Katherine's lawn....I kind of wish Lily's real life baby would come early, so she would leave the show now, I'm tired of her again. Amber and Chloe want to help Cane, Daisy plants the photo of Lauren and Paul, and Tucker sees Restless Style!

Chloe, Amber, and Chance are on the patio at Crimson Lights discussing how bizarre it is that Jana would leave Kevin. Michael and Lauren come in, but they haven't seen Kevin. Amber and Chloe are leaving, and Chloe warns Chance to be careful. After she goes, he calls in the partial license plate of the car that nearly ran them down. Lauren is inside at a table when Daisy comes in. She offers to get Lauren a coffee. Michael finishes a phone call and sits down with Lauren, noting that last night she was lively, and now not so much. She says she's tired, but Michael feels that's not the answer - they need to find out what's causing her problems! Daisy hands Lauren the coffee, but Michael thinks it's not a good idea, so Lauren passes. They leave, and Daisy looks at a photo of Lauren and Paul she has!

Neil and Lily discuss Cane's situation in the Club. Neil says he can work to get a legitimate visa in Australia. Lily notes he has serious enemies there - he could go and never come back! Daniel stops by the table and gives Lily a little pep talk. After he leaves, Neil says she has a gift - she makes people care about her.

At the lockup, Katherine and Jill are with Cane. Katherine says she has to go, and gives Cane a kiss, telling him to take care. Cane sits back down with Jill, who tells him that she and Kay will take care of Lily for him. He tells her that Lily's scan results aren't good - he'll escape! Jill is upset by the idea and tries to make him promise not to do anything rash. They say they love each other and she leaves, just as Chloe and Amber are coming in to see him. He is amused when the girls offer to be character witnesses or even lie on his behalf if it would help him stay in the country! He says the reality is that the sooner he goes, the sooner he can come back into the country. They both hug him and say goodbye. Outside the room, they agree that was sad, and wonder if there is any way to help him.

Katherine meets Tucker at Mac's bar where he is shooting pool. They banter about the deal he offered her, and whether he will pull a bait and switch and back out on her. He says he won't, and tells Katherine that he thinks his involvement with Jill interfered in their relationship - he feels bad about that. Kay levels with him - he had to know who she was, and that it would blow up in his face. She then muses that she and Jill had issues before, and they're fine. They talk about him cutting her back in at Chancellor - she says she wants more than half - she needs to be in control. Tucker points out he didn't have to do anything. Katherine counters by wondering if things have changed between them enough that he will give back what he never should have taken away. Tucker remarks that there is not a person on earth he'd make that deal with. She says Chancellor is a living, breathing thing to her - she can't walk away without a fight. Tucker downs his drink and considers things - he then asks why he should delay the inevitable - she'll just hammer away at him! Katherine is stunned - he's going to let her buy back enough shares to have control!

Lauren and Michael knock on Paul's door - he is surprised to see them. Lauren tells Paul that she asked Michael to look into Patty's situation for him. Paul is taken aback, but is happy when Michael tells him he got a judge to open discussion on her situation. Michael gets a call from a judge who wants to meet right away, and asks Paul to drive Lauren home. When Michael leaves, Paul confronts her about involving Michael in this - he has no idea he almost slept with his wife! Lauren, upset, says she is so sorry - something is wrong with her! She tells him how she's been behaving and feeling. Paul asks a few questions, then suggests she talk to a psychiatrist. Lauren says perhaps she will, but she needs him to promise that he won't tell Michael what happened between them. He does.

Jill comes into the Club just as Lily leaves Neil's table. Jill joins Neil and tells him that Cane is out of his mind with worry about Lily - he'll try to escape if her scan results aren't good! Neil is appalled, and Jill frets that if he pulls that, he won't be able to come back to the States at all! Lily comes back to the table briefly and says she is going to see Cane. Neil tells her to call if she hears from the doctor. At the doors, Lily feels emotional. Daniel notices and offers her a ride.

Back at the coffee house, Amber and Chloe have donned aprons and are making really disgusting cookies to give Cane - then he'll have to go to the hospital and they won't deport him. Chance comes in and marvels at their efforts. He pulls Chloe aside and tells her that the partial plate yielded 600 results! She sighs, and asks if they can just go home. He softens, and agrees. Daisy sits at the counter and puts the photo of Paul and Lauren in an envelope with Michael's name on it. Michael comes in and slaps his briefcase down on the counter. As he makes a call, Daisy slips the envelope into his briefcase! Michael comes back to his briefcase and picks it up as Amber quizzes him about Cane's case. He says it's as bad as it sounds, and leaves.

Lily and Daniel go to the bookstore, where she tells him she's emotional because immigration is deporting Cane, and also because she's waiting for scan results today. She admits she's worried what Cane will do if the results aren't positive. Just as Lily is about to leave, her phone rings - the scan results are in. She learns that her cancer is not gone, and tells Daniel. Lily calls Cane and lies to him, saying the chemo worked - she's cancer-free. Cane is relieved, and she tells him to go take care of things in Australia without worrying. Daniel questions her decision - she said Cane couldn't go away thinking she was sick - this is how it has to be!

Back at the Chancellor Estate, Chance and Chloe are bickering about the danger he's in. She tells him that she and Delia are falling in love with him - he has to listen to Sid! Chance agrees to back off, saying that's what you do when you love someone - and he loves her. Chloe says she lied before - she's not falling, she's already fallen, and loves him so much! They kiss, and make a beeline for any room in the house with a lock. Suddenly, Chance stops - he wants his first time not to be rushed, and this case is hanging over them. Chloe sighs - if he's waiting for the heavens open up and angels to sing - they'll miss the moment! Chance says he can't promise all that, but he just wants to wait a while longer, and then he'll give her a romantic time she'll never forget!

Still at Mac's bar, Katherine and Tucker sign the papers, and just then, a teenager comes up with the new issue of Restless Style with Tucker's face on the cover. Tucker snatches it and asks, "What is this?" Across the room, Jill, who came in unseen, raises her glass to him. Katherine looks at Tucker's face and says, "You can't think I had anything to do with this?!"

Jill tells Kay this is not about her playing mommy to Tucker - this is about her getting her company back!

Michael says to Phyllis, "You would be keeping a child away from Nick - you do that, you're no better than Adam!"

As Nick and Sharon stand watching, Victor says to Adam, "We will stay in this cabin until you tell us what happened to Nick and Sharon's baby!"

The End Is Near!

It looks like Nick or Victor was the one who used the sap to knock out Adam. Tomorrow Adam is tied to a chair at the cabin. Nick , Victor and Sharon interrogate him. Then Phyllis apparently finds a letter from Dr. Taylor that details the entire baby scheme. She is shocked out of her mind, by what is in the letter and freaks out! Sharon's baby is Faith! Red doesn't want to tell Nick! Phyllis now knows that Ashley miscarried early on and Adam stole Sharon's daughter to give to Ashley. She is in the car with Micheal Baldwin driving to the cabin. She screams I can't tell Nick the truth! Red realizes what this news will do to her marriage.Toni's Y&r spoiler is not up yet.

Hot Coffee Talk

I heard MM did not get the Hawaii 5-O role of Dano. Sorry to hear that, but MM will find work acting somewhere. Maybe another soap? What is it that MM is keeping mum about till April Fool's day?

I am looking forward to today's Y&R. The UPS man is here have to go!

The Executive Woman

My partner and I had lunch at Pei Wei today. Patsy, a neighbor from down the street was there and said "Mr. Brook's what has happened to Nikki Newman?" I choked on my spicy shrimp for a second as my partner rolled his eyes and looked around to see if anyone had heard her. After clearing my throat I said... "You know I was thinking the same thing!" My partner opened his fortune cookie as I added to the conversation..."Why don't any of the women have jobs anymore? "Patsy then said your right Mark and we counted them off... Ashley doesn't work nor does Nikki or Sharon or Gloria or Lily or Phyllis or Victoria. Jana is in a zoo cage, Amber folds clothes at Fenmores with Daisy and Mack serves beer at Jimmy's.
What is Jill doing these days?
"Running a copier at Restless Style" mumbled my partner...then my partner read his fortune cookie out loud..." He who grabs the last lettuce wrap is the least hungry. "I said well, we did not order lettuce wraps and rolled my eyes at Patsy.
"What kind of fortune is that anyway?" added Patsy.
So, to break the ice I opened my fortune cookie and read it out loud. "The ability to find the silly in the serious will take you far." Patsy said that was a better fortune cookie and then read hers. "The love of your life will appear in front of you unexpectedly."
She looked at us both and rolled her eyes and we all laughed as she reached for her purse to get up to leave.... Patsy turned around and bumped into this guy making him spill his drink all over his shirt.... True Lunch Story!

Marcy Rylan is The New Abby Carlton

Could this be Adam's killer? Former Guiding Light star Marcy Rylan is joining Y&R as the new Abby Carlton.
Marcy Rylan (born Marcy Faith Behrens on November 4, 1980) Abby has been aged again apparently. This is the second replacement this week on Y&R. I personally liked the other Abby, but that is life in GC!
Rylan is most known for her role as Lizzie Spaulding on the soap opera Guiding Light. She joined the show's cast on February 7, 2006 taking over the role from Crystal Hunt.

Adam Tries To Flee The Country

I am pretty sure I was wrong about Adam getting a second baby for Sharon. It was speculation that I do not now believe is going to happen. Does a body show up? Yes, I think it does by the looks of the promo. I am not always going to be right, but I do give it my best shot. That is what makes this site fun, trying to figure out what is going to happen next in Genoa City. Have a great weekend!

Monday March 8:

Sharon tells Adam that she believes Taylor lied about her baby - she pleads with him to confirm that she's alive, but he denies, denies, denies. She tells him his mother would despise him!

Sharon and Ashley make calls to the hospital and sanitarium and learn there is no record of any still births that night. Sharon is now certain her baby is alive.

Heather meets with Victor regarding Adam, and then pays Adam a visit to tell him the walls are closing in.

Victor and Jack decide to put their differences aside to team up against Adam.

JT fires his lawyer when he attacks Vikki. Later, she is discouraged when she sees him with Mac.

Breaking News! Eden Riegel is The New Heather Stevens!

It's official Vail Bloom is out and the old Bianca is in at Y&R as Paul Williams daughter, Heather Stevens. The talented and charming Eden Riegel is best known to daytime fans for her Emmy-winning run as Bianca on ALL MY CHILDREN, where she played Erica Cane's beautiful lesbian daughter.

The former Bianca will head up the prosecution of Adam's murder case. She goes after the number one suspect Ashley Abbott! Let's hope she has better luck than Vail Bloom at catching criminals in Genoa City.

 It looks like she may also be involved with Chance in uncovering the corrupt police officers who killed Riggs.

A&E Shows

Mr. Brook's enjoyed a nice bottle of wine tonight with my partner. We enjoyed Lost and believe that Locke is actually a good guy. I 've developed a major crush on this man. Here that downstairs? My partner will read this in about 19 minutes after he finishes his PRECIOUS suduko puzzle! LOL! Time will tell if the blue eyed Locke is evil or good, only ten episodes left. But what I want to say is A&E network has very good shows now. The shows... Hoarders, Intervention and many more are really interesting to watch. The complexity of these folks lives make soaps seem out of touch with today's society. Tune in to A&E shows, you can't get better TV than A&E these days.
BTW...I would give that Shaun guys review of Y&R on Soaps.com news room section an A+.   That was really good! They do a great job over there keeping us informed and we all appreciate the site.

Bringing Them Down Y&R

Why are all the characters on Y&R out to bring someone down? This recurrent theme is getting old... Victor takes Jack down... Billy wants payback for Colleen... Jack has to take Victor down... Daisy is taking Lauren down...  Patty is out to take Emily down...Cane and Billy are always trying to bring the other down... Nick and Victoria wanted to bring Adam down from day one, as was the same with Adam trying to get at his two spoiled siblings...Red is always out to get Sharon...Adam wants to take Ashley down...Ryder and Daisy are bringing Jana down... Jill and Billy are out to bring Tucker down... now the entire town is out to bring Adam down. This has been a very cold winter and the writers need to take this into consideration when they are writing for us! Most of us are have been cooped up all winter and are getting sick of the sad and depressing storylines they are writing for us....

DOWN! DOWN! DOWN!
It makes you kind of not care what happens to any of them.

What do most of us get each day? Basically we are tied to a tree and flogged for an hour.

Tucker's Story Has Gone Bad!

Mr. Brook's is not finding the Tucker painting story interesting at all. It sucks! Why are the writers doing this kind of pure garbage! We have had it with paintings, art work and bribery/ stolen art/ galleries. Period. Drop them all ASAP! It did not work with Brad and his mother, nor did it work with Sabrina and her gallery. It was awful with the Torroni and now the only thing they can thing of to do with Tucker is have him bride a Yugoslavian with a painting to play music? How did Tucker have a painting worth tens of millions of dollars if he was JUST starting out anyway? Bribery from 25 years ago? Really? Looks like the writers dropped the ball on this storyline.

Tucker should have been written as Vietnam veteran, Katherine could have helped her son after she witnessed him having a flashback. Jack could have been one of his buddies back then.  I would like to see this happen, tie Jack and Tucker together by their war experiences.

Killing Adam

Micheal Muhney's one year contract expires the last week of May 2010. So, what can we expect to see? I would think that Adam's death will take place in the May sweeps time period. I can't see Adam being killed off before May, but you can never tell it may happen sooner. I think in the end, if Adam does not kill himself as some of us are now thinking, the murderer will turn out to be Patty Williams. Just speculation on my part of course. I really hope Micheal gets the role as Dano on Hawaii 5-0, he has energized Y&R and is the main reason the show has been so interesting to watch the past year. I have to give credit to Ashley also, her unbelievable false pregnancy storyline was played as well as it could be by Davidson. The story of Adam's death is most probably being written as I type this. Remember there is a month difference in production to air time. I am just sad to see Adam go! The show will not be as good without Adam Wilson.

Chilling Earthquake

I was thinking about Jana and our earthquake calendars we use to make at Crimson Lights. I have been reluctant to bring it up since the Haiti quake. Oddly though I was going to write about that yesterday, with Jana being locked up at the zoo and all. Now Chili has been hit with a huge 8.8 earthquake. That is a big one. If you look at the fault lines this has me worried that California may be next. When these lines shift it disrupts the stability of the earth's crust. Chili sets off the Pacific ocean and yesterday there was a 7.0 earthquake in Okinawa near Japan. This could be a sign that the Pacific quadrant is shifting. This clustering of earthquakes leads scientists to estimate that the probability of a magnitude 6.8 or larger earthquake occurring during the next 30 years in the San Francisco Bay region is about 67 percent (twice as likely as not). That prediction was made in 1979. Another way to estimate the likelihood of future earthquakes is to study how fast strain accumulates. When plate movements build the strain in rocks to a critical level, like pulling a rubber band too tight, the rocks will suddenly break and slip to a new position. Scientists measure how much strain accumulates along a fault segment each year, how much time has passed since the last earthquake along the segment, and how much strain was released in the last earthquake. This information is then used to calculate the time required for the accumulating strain to build to the level that results in an earthquake. This simple model is complicated by the fact that such detailed information about faults is rare. In the United States, only the San Andreas fault system has adequate records for using this prediction method.

Sweeps Are Over

It's Friday and the week was great in Genoa City! Y&R has such great actors and the stories are really interesting for the most part. Kay may have had some trouble with her accusations about Tucker. I would think the statute of limitations would have been up on the bribery charge since it was 25 years ago. Besides if this music was played in Yugoslavia, I doubt they had the same kind of laws concerning paying someone to play songs on the radio. How did the bands get so popular in the USA if they were only played in Yugoslavia anyhow? That whole story was rather dumb. Chloe and Chance's story has been done very well. It is a sweet love story that is unfolding slowly, but you can feel their love. Unlike the Jack  and Mary Jane/Patty/Emily vagina trilogy. Cassie's ghost comes around next month, could this mean that Sharon gets Faith back. I am thinking it does! Lily will need to leave the show in April to have her baby. So, she will have to be written out. This will be the period of time that Phillip returns to the show. My coffee is done, I slept late again. My first cup at 11:09! Why would Dr. Taylor have any files at all in Genoa City? He was from Boston. Why would he store records on Chestnut street in GC? His records would be at his office in Boston or at his home in Boston. Hmm. Patty does steal the show with her fabulous see saw act. I love the way she creates havoc in GC. I sure hope Billy does not become dull now that he has been tied to Victoria Newman. She needs to stop whining and move forward with her life, but please do not sacrifice Billy Miller's role to save Victoria's rather caustic character.

Jillian's Spoilers from Daytime Confidential

Adam/Sharon/Nick: Nick visits Sharon while Adam is mysteriously out. Nick tries to convince Sharon that Adam is a lying snake by presenting her with Skye's diary. Sharon once again tells Nick she has faith in her man and isn't trying to hear what her ex has to say. In Sharon's mind everyone is being judgemental towards Adam because of his past. She also knows Nick is being driven by Phyllis and she doesn't believe anything Big Red has to say regarding her man. Nick implores Sharon to read the diary. She refuses. Nick decides to take matters into his own hands and starts reading it out loud. Sharon tries to drown out  what Nick is saying, but she starts to listen when he reads a few paragraphs and Adam's lies hit her like a ton of bricks. Sharon finds out via Skye's diary Adam knew all about Dr. Taylor molesting his patients. Sharon is crushed by the lies Adam has told her since she thought he would be different from her former husbands.

Nick pushes Sharon to end her marriage and leave the house with him, but Sharon lets him know his days of riding in on a white horse are over! Sharon wants to deal with Adam herself. After Nick heads out, Sharon starts to read Skye's diary for herself and gets pissed by what she's reading. She calls Adam up acting as though everything's okay, because she wants to confront him in person. Adam is having some alone time due to it being two years since his mother died. Later, Sharon has a dream dealing with Adam and her baby. Ashley also has a dream a starts to remember things that her mind had previously blocked out.

Victor/Jack: The enemies decide to team up... AGAIN!

Kevin/Jana/Ryder/Daisy: The pyro records Jana's saying Kevin won't stop looking for her and decides to edit out a few parts. Daisy manipulates it as though Jana begged her husband to quit his search for her. Daisy is hell bent on getting Kevin off her trail, so she plays the message for Kevin on the phone. Unfortunately for Daisy, Kevin isn't fooled. Jana keeps on trying to get through to Ryder in order to get home to Kevin. Ryder reveals Tom never abused him.

When it seems as though Jana's breaking Ryder's walls down, Daisy shows up and Jana has to start from scratch. Later, Kevin gets an anonymous tip planted by Daisy that has him heading to a hotel in Illinois. He gets some clues Daisy manufactured to have him believe Jana was having a romp with another man. Still unfazed, Kevin calls Jana's cell and tells her on voicemail he refuses to quit his search for her, which Jana hears courtesy of Ryder and Daisy. Daisy informs Jana unless she writes Kevin a Dear John letter, Ryder will harm him. Jana agrees in order to protect her husband.

Lily: She has to make a tough choice. 

Paul/Lauren: Daisy walks in on the two in a sticky position.

Chance/Chloe: The lovebirds get a bit serious in their romance.

Friday's Y&R Highlights

Jack wins a thirty day extension from the Judge. Victoria fantasizes about Billy in the courtroom. Adam has disappeared. Patty rages to Emily in the hospital room about Diane and Kyle being in her house! Emily opens her eyes and stares at Patty, freaking Patty out! Patty puts a pillow over Emily's face. Sharon is slowly coming to realize Adam is a liar. Red finds proof that Adam did in fact know that Dr. Taylor had molested Skye. Nick tries to find Adam. Why hasn't Kay put 10 attorneys on Cane's immigration case? He is an important executive at Chancellor Industries!  My dog Catcher is giving me that look. The one that says I would rather be chasing a ball right now, than lying here watching you type Mr. Brooks. Abby seems to agree with Catcher's sentiments. Or was it just a ruse to get Catcher off the dog bed so she could have it? You never know what these two are plotting.

 Abby thinks Fisher would know that Patty's scent is completely different than Emily's. She is really worried that Patty will poison Fisher just like she did Zapato! Don't worry Abby, I doubt the writers will kill off another dog.

Patty, Diane and Kyle

Cane gets arrested by the INS. He is married to an American citizen. So, what is the reason for Cane's arrest? Doesn't Mrs. C have enough pull with the Senator to stop this nonsense? Murphy must have an old WW2 pistol to bribe him with at his old trailer. The cattle mafia has one big problem! You can smell them before they even get here. Patty is not going to like Kyle so much, especially when she finds out how he came into this world. Patty is going to freak out when she learns that Diane is in town. What may happen is Kyle finds himself in a Colleen situation down the road and Victor turns out to be the person who saves little Kyle's life. Kyle should be the same age as Abby. I remember when they were the same age. Jack and Ashley were excited their children would be raised up together. It seems rather dumb of the writers to make a change in the story, when the viewers know this fact. They could have easily had an older boy play Kyle. Summer is now the same age as this Kyle. Fen is almost a full head taller than Kyle! It is just stupid planning. This is something the viewers do not like. The writers need to remember the simple details, but more often than not when it comes to the off spring, they drop the ball and we go "GEE that was an easy catch" what gives? Lily is in remission, her cancer is gone. Thank goodness, we were tired of that storyline. The gang at Restless style needs to write about the outside world more. The only articles ever produced by the RS magazine are personal family traumas.  Can't they do this type of reporting on Facebook? Riggs is dead. The guy who stabbed Chance. I suppose this was done by Mama or Daisy. Or maybe a pissed off cow. But you know we are starting to not care. I know the stories have to build up....So BUILD something already! We already have the two screws, Daisy and Ryder. Here are some nails, a hammer, a board.... pound us out a story!

Kyle Arrives

Emily's surprise arrives and it is Kyle, who was born the same year as Abby. Remember how Diane stole Victor's sperm? Then Ashley got her hands on it and was inseminated with it. Abby is 15. How old is Kyle? Diane was stunned to learn she had delivered Jack's child instead of Victor's. Jack had a lump on his testicle, so he had some sperm frozen in case it was a cancerous tumor. It wasn't cancer. A mix up at the lab happened... and that in a nut shell is how Kyle came to be in this world. Patty is stunned to see Kyle of course. Since she is not Emily. Victor goes to see Patty at memorial and FINALLY has a REGRET! I thought Victor had no regrets? But using Patty to get back at Jack is it. I would also regret hiring my soon to be ex son-in- law to dig up dirt on the daughter of the man who died saving the life of my grandson. But I suppose that was just business...not anything personal.
Tucker is all confused about Kay now. Revenge ain't no stroll in the park. Kay should take her son out to the zoo, maybe buy him some cotton candy, save Jana and ride the Ferris wheel. See you later folks! I am taking my lab, Abby, out for a walk now.

Live From My Sofa!

Today Mr. Brook's is watching live! Jana is shouting out for help at the zoo. Glo has gone detective to help with the search. Daisy is as creepy as a girl can be. Glo at least notices that Daisy is slightly off.
Now more coffee for me...as I have slept late this morning. Even the Hellstrum's fights are awful. These two should just not have ANY scenes with one other whatsoever. Tucker is now explaining his Art dealings. I have a feeling Kay and Tucker will hug and makeup soon. Kay isn't going to want to see her son in trouble, but she will get Tucker to back off from selling the Chancellor assets. This story needs to move to the next level.
Tucker has a tear in his eye as he realizes his mother cares enough about him to not turn him into the authorities for bribery. How touching!
Red wants Adam so bad, she does not know the ramifications will impact her marriage. Well, actually destroy it! You go Red! Get Adam... and lose Nick. It may just be the best thing that could happen to your character. I could see Red with Tucker...hmm? Dianne must be Tucker's girlfriend.
Mike thinks Jana's tumor has regrown. Kevin is a spastic dweeb. Suddenly its last summer again.
Victor wants the truth from Adam. The truth is Victor, you need a new security team at the ranch. Case closed!
Ryder gives Jana her toiletries at the zoo as Red and Nick have their yucky mucky fruity tooty juvenile love scene, we have all grown tired of.
What happened with the black guy at the restaurant in LA. MS bolted and was rude to the guy from what I read. Maybe he scared her? Then again maybe it never even happened.
Victor is about to leap out and bite Adam with his fangs. These two are great together! Adam watch out here comes Daddy's warning.
Adam, everyone is going to have a motive to shoot you.
VP Europe division + Adam = one last hope? Nope you have to stay Adam= cancel the Chancellor liquidations ASAP!

Kay pats her back, see I saved my son!
Wifred Brimley...how old is he now 58...didn't he start doing that commercial when he was 26? No one gives a shit about where you live Victoria, you have enough money not to have to fight over a cabin. The housing concerns should not be an issue for any of you folks.
So why do the writers cram the housing problems down our throats constantly? Make more sets!
Homeless millionaires, how can that possibly be a problem?
All I can say to end my sofa rant is..... move the stories along a bit faster! Especially the Daisy /Ryder mess!

Tuesday!

Sharon is pissed that she cannot move into Brad's old house. She is ready to split town with Adam. If Victor says the words "it's a business decision" you know that it is actually VERY personal! Why would Victor need Jabot at all? If this wasn't personal what was it? Paying that much money for Jabot was not a business decision. I wish folks wouldn't let Victor say that without laughing in his face. Now more paintings show up in photos. Sigh. Tucker bribed someone with a painting worth millions of dollars to play music on the radio. You know Tucker, you probably could have just paid the stations a lot less money than that to get them to play those songs! How does Katherine even know the painting was a bribe? If this guy is Tucker's friend, couldn't the painting be on loan, to show in his collection? Maybe Tucker did not have room for it in his collection. Maybe it was a gift! Sounds a lot like the gun Murphy bribed the Wisconsin Judge with to pardon Kevin from the bank robberies he committed in Minnesota. That was an odd tale to bribe a Judge who had no powers in Minnesota. From what Mr. Brook's can tell Jana should have frozen to death in the zoo cage by now. it is below freezing for the high this time of year in Wisconsin. Jana is locked up outside, at what looks to be an abandoned zoo cage. Any other ideas about what that place could be? Maybe it is an abandoned carnival? 

Ryder Never Talks

The one thing that really bugs me about Ryder is ... he never talks. Ryder usually just stands there. The writers seem to not have any lines for Ryder. I do not think they ever had a solid storyline for this character. The writers are winging it with Ryder! Ryder has no idea what is going on because the writers are not telling him, I think? He looks as confused as the audience. The most positive thing I can say about Ryder is he is a cute mute. This story has obviously been rewritten many times! Why draw out the mystery any further? Jana looking into the camera with fear this week... the entire week! ...well we get it! Now show us the MAMA! Dam it. This is bad! It has been going on since last October, if I correctly remember. Maybe longer actually! Sweeps is almost over! Deacon is gone off to jail and this storyline has two strikes against it already. If the MAMA doesn't hit a home run. The game ends before it ever even began.

Diane Jenkins Two Day Stint

Diane is appearing in just two episodes of Y&R. She has not been signed on as a regular yet. This should be fun to see Patty's reaction. Diane is not Ryder's mother as some viewers may be thinking.

What I am wondering is... when is Jana's contract up. Isn't it about now? I fear Jana may be gone soon, making Kevin a widower. The cast is large and the budget is really tight, so Jana ain't going to survive this big bad mama storyline if you ask me.
